One-on-one LSAT tutoring · Booked by the hour
Your next step
in LSAT prep.
I’m Sean Burns. I tutor the LSAT one student at a time, and every plan is built around your goals and your progress rather than a set curriculum or a prep company’s course. The work is challenging and engaging, and it is streamlined for you — so the hours you put in go where they count.

The approach
Student‑centered,
challenging and
engaging.
Encouragement and a real challenge are not opposites. Sessions ask a lot of your thinking and stay generous with you while doing it.
- 01
Individualized from the first hour
There is no set curriculum and no course calendar to keep up with. The plan is built around your goals, your progress and the way you already think — so every hour goes to what will actually move your score.
- 02
Streamlined, so nothing is wasted
A prep company has to teach everything to everyone. One-on-one work skips all of that: we spend our time on the handful of things standing between you and your target, and leave the rest alone.
- 03
Challenging, and genuinely engaging
Sessions are a conversation rather than a lecture. You talk through your thinking, we take the questions apart together, and the reasoning becomes something you can use rather than something you memorised.
- 04
Confidence that holds on test day
Knowing why an answer is right — and why the others are not — is what steadies the clock. Accuracy comes first, pace follows it, and you walk in trusting the process you built.
Sean was perhaps the most integral part of my LSAT improvement. I had tested well (167) but felt like there was another level I could get to… I was able to score a 178 the next month.

Sessions run $85 an hour, and the first conversation is free. Send a short note with your progress so far and the score you are aiming at, and we can talk about what a plan would look like.
